With decades in the entertainment industry and extensive experience on both sides of the mic, I’m passionate about—and deeply practiced in—bringing inspiration to life. 

I have boundless energy to drive youthful roles, and abundant life experience to give seasoned roles authenticity. My ability to infuse tight articulation with emotive depth ensures that no matter your time constraints, your words are delivered with conviction and clarity.

When I’m not in the booth, I run my own company, Station 42 Creator Support Services LLC, and I volunteer with local non-profits serving homeless pets, LGBTQ+ youth, and the arts. I read voraciously, drink a lot of coffee, enjoy spending time outdoors, and work at maintaining conversational fluency in French and Japanese.

If I look familiar, you may know me as Samantha Robertson, formerly of Nintendo. While there, I wrote voiceover scripts and supervised casting, recording, and production for marketing executions and video games. I also served as on-camera and vo talent for over 100 livestream segments and prerecorded videos, and provided vo for the game Super Mario Party.

My sister is voice actor Sarah Grayson, and it’s thanks to her encouragement that I decided to get into vo myself. With her blessing, I’m sharing her stage surname, which was created to honor our grandmother.

I work in a dedicated, closed-door booth with Auralex & Sonex acoustic treatments. Performances are captured via an Audio-Technica AT2035 microphone with pop filter, using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. All recordings are managed on a MacBook Pro equipped with a variety of recording and conferencing tools, including Source-Connect 4.0 Talent. Both my studio and I (username: samanthagrayson) are officially certified by the Source-Connect team.

If a live-directed session is desired, I’m happy to accommodate from my studio. I can also book time at a local full-service recording and post-production studio when advanced engineering support is required, and I’m happy to travel from Seattle for work. If requested, I offer added value as a copywriter and editor specializing in marketing, creative writing, and localization. I can deliver high-quality audio files for most projects within 24 hours.
